Carrie's Friday Foto Finish Fiesta

This was my view as I walked up the road.
I was wondering just what would bring out such a crowd.

Free pizza anyone?

My son would probably be the first to enter such a contest and probably win. Now I'm hungry for pizza and my coffee don't taste the same anymore.

I wonder if any professional competitive eaters were there.

Now I am going to be thinking about pizza all day.

yum! pizza!

pizza is one of the four food groups right up there with coffee chocolate and beer

i don't eat competitively. I don't need a challenge to get me to eat more.

I was just in NY last week, having pizza. But I didn't enter a contest. From all that we ate while we were there, we COULD have won for most calories consumed.
Found you on Candid Carrie.

It's like a college campus. FREE FOOD and everyone comes out of the woodwork.

Pizza eating contest? That could work. It's been suggested more than once that I turn pro, but I think they were just being mean. :)

Hope your date's going well.

To all, They have some of the best pizza in the entire city. They are quite famous and have been in that location for many years, just off the LIRR. The counter is tiny and you can only eat the pizza in that tiny little section. They don't deliver because they don't need to. The NERVE!

I didn't get any free pizza, I didn't remember about the event.

However, I don't think there is enough lactaid in the world for me to make it through a pizza eating contest. LOL!

Here's where my silly mind goes on this contest: is the pizza hot? How can people try to eat as much as possible when it is so hot. Won't they burn their mouth? What will it be like for them hours later when they need to go to the bathroom? HOLY CRAPOLI!

It's funny what people will do for free food.

Looked like it was fun.

Thanks to everyone for stopping by today.

Drowsey, It's hard to understand a pizza eating contest ...cake, pie, hot dogs yes, pizza...how do you eat a lot of that in a short period of time?
