What different worlds we live it! Out of your whole list the only one I could say I have experienced is the hate of pay parking. Here, if you park for 2 hours or less you don't have to pay. Needless to say our shopping trips are always done in under 2 hours!

I can relate to many of those. I live in Alberta, "the richest province". HA! It's only the richest because we have to pay through the nose to live here!! We are taxed and by-lawed for every move we make. It drives me insane!

Hi Rhonda! - Boy I wish the leftist here would read and listen to you. They want to copy all things Canadian and think it's the perfect way to go. Tsk tsk. They don't see what you do. Maybe you'll guest blog about life up there?

If you don't like to pay for parking - don't come to New Orleans. That's the one thing I don't like about the city - parking is a royal pain in the rear. And as for the street cars, they are packed to the gills and not so comfortable to ride down the New Orleans pothole streets!

I've been to New York twice for brief visits. It's a "rush rush" place, whereas here ~ New Orleanians tend to mosey along. Lol

I am seeing a bit of a repetition here....am I mistaken, or are you having some issues with the Chinese?

By the way, they're not very nice to realtors either. Well, except Tony Chow. He was nice to me, but very demanding. But I'll forgive him.

I'm glad to be back in your bloggyland, Lauren. I've been so busy with work and life, I haven't done any blog reading at all. At. All. Not to mention much blog writing. Sucks to be me. I need to win the lottery, or just live in a cave with a little vegetable patch on the side...any suggestions?

Been to NYC 3 times over the last several years - I LOVE it so much! Even getting stuck for 30 minutes in a crowded subway. The Chinese food was always scrumptious, much better than L.A. And why ARE some Chinese so darn mean? Seriously.

But I don't like anyone in a position of power (including landlords) that don't speak English. Don't get me started on some of our gas station owners in L.A.
