York College In Canada

Home of the liberally-minded nation...York College is in the Toronto area of Canada.

Just read this article to see what is happening with our neighbors to the north.

Ah yes...let the healing begin...MY ASS!

And then there's this boycott from the union that makes up educators in Canada: CUPE union votes for academic boycott of Israel. CUPE stands for Canadian Union of Public Employees.

There is speculation in Canada that the CUPE Union leader is from the south of Ireland and has been funded by the IRA.

I read the article, and all I could think was that Canada is loaded with apologists, and French. Should say enough right there.

Our government is stepping in, thankfully, "The Harper government is accusing one of Ontario's biggest unions of taking an "intolerant" stance against Israel..."

Ummmm . . .

1. It's York University, not York College. It's in the city where I was born and grew up. I never attended it. It has had a really bad year. I'm sorry for the students, especially.

2. The people in CUPE are not educators' they are "support staff." The educators (as in faculty) belong to an entirely different organization.

3. "There is speculation in Canada that the CUPE Union leader is from the south of Ireland and has been funded by the IRA." That's got to be a joke, and a bad one at that.

4. We have a prime minister who makes Attila the Hun look like a socialist! Matter of fact, he makes George Bush (the Younger) look like a socialist.

5. We have oil in tar sands, but the processing of the tar sands is killing birds -- lots and lots of birds.

6. We have a next-door neighbour whose brand new "big stimulus" president is sounding protectionist. Remember, American protectionism was what turned the recession of 1929 into the depression of the 1930s.

And Dani thinks Canadian has issues? Gee, d'ya think, really?

@Rob-bear-My blog my last word! :)

You really need to get your ass out of your left left left so far left wing ass so you can start to see there really are more details and issues than you are willing to be honest about currently.

My information comes from many sources. One is directly from the inside.

You're wrong about the people who are in CUPE.

Obviously you are someone who believes the only way a government should be is socialist, and therefore it's people should be completely dependent upon the government, and that your own people are too stupid to take care of themselves with their own monies. ie: you are a control freak.

But getting past all your really weak attempts to deligitamize the actual story here which is that whomever you deem these CUPE activists to be, they are anti-Israel, anti-democracy, PRO TERRORIST, with terrorist ties.

If you want to back up terrorists, terrorism, hamas and live under sharia so be it. I'll start a fund to buy you a ticket to go live in Saudi Arabia. In the meantime stop your lies and distractions.

If Harper's farther right than W. Bush I'm further left than pandagon. Get real. Stephen Harper would be a RINO in America. What's your beef with him, that he wants a more civilized age of consent for Canada or is it that he won't let Islmamic Imperialism fester until you guys get hit with a 9/11?
