Wii Wii Wii All The Way Home
But another committment I made to myself was to lose some weight and get in better shape. It's not that I don't have some shape, it's just not the shape I'd like to have. So I lobbied hard for a Wii for my birthday and I got one. Well truth be told, I had a certificate from recent clients as a thank you gift for helping them and gave it to the parentals to combine to get me the Wii.
I'd rather die than have you think I'm spoiled...when I'm not. Someday when I actually am I'll brag about it to youse! ;)
So I've been playing the Wii Fit as many days in a row as I possibly can. The Fit was my gift to me. NEENER to you!
At first it told me I was the age of 42, then 44 and then in less than a week it said I had the age of 34. I think the first two were big lies...constructed by democrats who snuck into my Wii and programmed it to say such horrid things. I gave it a lashing or two and they ran away and now my proper age according to my fitness is shining through!
I've played enough to open new games. This is a concept I detest. First: I paid $100 for this game and who is anyone to hold back games from me. It should be my choice. Second, well see my first!!!!!
However I've unlocked quite a few games. One of them is rythmic boxing which I really like. I might even video myself for all you to watch (and laugh your asses off at) if I'm feeling bold.
So after I sign off from writing this post I'm going to play my Wii and commit to a half hour of this until I lost 10 lbs!
As for the social stuff. I've joined a local meetup group and we are having dinner right across the street from where I live. Pefect time, location and well just perfect for my social needs. There's a karaoke happening after that event, nearby but not in my neighborhood that I might check out later if I'm not called to work. I'll of course blog about these events after I attend.

A Legend From My Childhood Dies
When Jackson rose to fame I was about 12 years old. I bought the cassette tape and played it over and over and over on my boom box on the street outside my house in suburbia and my neighbor Amy and I would dance all funky like little white girls do, right there in the street, while our parents looked at us, probably holding back laughter, trying to look supportive. Even then, Mom who has never held her tongue made "conversation" about how weird he was and did I think he was gay.
As kids we spent hours trying to perfect the moon walk and many of our friends wore one glove, YES YOU DID DON'T LIE NOW, and wore flood pants and those leather jackets with the weird pattern and buttons because we wanted to be just like him in Thriller.
As much as that windbag Sharpton would like you to believe everything is about black and white and all that other horse shit, none of us thought about him as a black person, not even our parents who grew up during a segregated time. It was never a thought in our mind. We were the generation that was brought up to be colorblind. It's only been the last 20ish years, as we are now adults that somehow this issue of race is supposedly such a fucking issue. Yes I said the F word. Whatcha gonna do about it?!?
In that respect it was a better time. We were a better nation. We just were. We didn't divide. We were color blind and it was a good thing!
As far as his music goes, I'll love it. It will make me sad to hear it knowing he is gone. There's something horrible in that even with all I've mentioned. It's just untimely and strange. I love his earlier music. I'm a disco freak. There's I've come out of the closet. I love disco!
But as I wrote about the love letters yesterday, the media is intrusive and goes to far. This man, even in his death deserves his privacy and so do his children and family and while we should eulogize him, that is where it should end.
Read the Rabbi's words about Michael.

Email Love Letters
OK so maybe the emails were written on an account that wasn't so private but still...when do we as a society say enough.
I heard some lines of the emails read allowed last night and thought HOT FLASH, I had no thought. Just HOT FLASH.
Way too personal, romantic and racey.
We don't need to know this. The man let his pickle make bad choices for him. He's the typical stupid man I wish to never have a relationship with ever. Although so many tell me that if I ever want a relationship with a man again [sigh] then my expectations in this regard is way too high. Hmmm But I digress.
But it makes me think about all the stupid emails I am sure I sent in my desperate moments, love stricken and heart broken and how I hope to high heaven they have been deleted forever on the other person's computer.
While it's common knowledge now, or should be at this point in our culture, how electronic communication works, can live forever, and yet we still see people making these large errors...back in the day it wasn't so common knowledge and we just wrote as if they were letters on paper, with the old mindset. And couple that mindset with heartbreak, desperation to be heard by the one you so desperately love and you have a recipe for embarrassment if that person wishes to humiliate you.
This governor's humilator is the press. Shame on them! But really it could come from anyone these days. It seems to have become acceptable to do to fellow human beings. HORRID!

KNOW What You Are Supporting...
I wrote the other day about some Parallel Situations between the demonstrations in Iran and it's American supporters. In light of the violence that has followed over there, and the seemingly unwavering support by so many around the world, I have to wonder, do people REALLY understand what they are supporting? I offer my support to the Iranians for a fair election, for if a country is going to HAVE one, it should be a valid one.

The Right Questions
I remember a conversation with a former co-worker I had about 2.5 years ago, on a park bench in a Manhattan, during lunch hour in the park around 23 street, the famous little park where so many movies get scenes shot. He and I were commiserating together about our shared boss and our frustrations and I turned to him and said, "It's not so much what is said but what isn't said that is being refused to be looked at and into." And he said to me, "Funny you should say that. I'm reading about all about that." And showed me this little red book.
So today Phyllis blogged about an exchange with an old "friend" of hers and included a comment from a previous post for which I'll share with you here:
“One needn’t be right wing, nor a Zionist, or even Jewish to understand what animates those who fulminate over Jewish ’settlements’. One only has to ask the right (no pun intended) questions to understand what their agenda really is. For instance - since there are many, many more illegal Arab buildings/settlements in E. Jerusalem and ALL over Israel, are the people who are clamoring for Jewish ’settlement’ to cease, also calling for Arab demolitions? Further, while 20% of Israel’s population are Arabs with full citizenship, why is the PA allowed to demand that Judea & Samaria become Judenrein, all in the name of ‘peace’?
These type of questions to a fair minded person would be answered in a fair minded manner. However, when the agenda is fueled by anti-Zionist/anti-Semitic nuances, these same (righteous) questions become nothing more than a hindrance to ‘peace’ efforts.
There is nothing more important within this framework than to expose the hidden prejudices of the (in)human rights brigade.”

Cry Baby Obama
Mr. Obama, NO ONE is attacking you. You know it and sensible Americans know it too. The only people that don't know it are the ones that are brainwashed!
FOX News is reporting a different point of view of the same situation. I know in your world only your POV is allowed, but sorry to bust your hump but this isn't the United States of Obama, at least not yet. And opposing points of view are what keep a democracy just that. So if you can't or don't like it I suggest you go and run for President of Cuba or Myranmar next time around if you want to lead where there is no opposing views allowed.

Clearest Words!
"In truth, for advertisers, politicians, special interest groups, and the politically correct, the real purpose of language is no longer to convey meaning - it is to obscure meaning, to appeal to emotions while bypassing the intellect. Their motive is obvious: it is far easier to evoke a strong emotional response than it is to present a logically developed argument. But by allowing meaning to be drained from our language and our words, we have not only denuded them of their clarity, but also of their depth."
"Teachers, be careful with your words," warns the Talmud, "lest the disciples who follow you will drink of evil waters and die." When the waters of wisdom become polluted with confusion and contradiction, it is society's youth who will pay the price through the erosion of moral clarity and moral principles."

Iranian Elections Are A Fraud But So Are Their People
Well, because underneath the banana peel you still will find a banana!
Their society is made up of zealots, bigots, anti-semites of varying degrees.
‘Reformist’ Iranian Candidate Founded Hezbollah
All this "election" and aftermath shows us that once again Obama is WRONG. It is not nor ever has been the U.S. that should be apologizing or asking for an open dialogue. This fake election in Iran just peels back a little of the banana and shows us what their society looks like underneath.
Iran is a theocracy. Plain and simple. The choice is not really a choice but only what the Mullahs sanction. And what they sanction is hardliner vs. slightly less hardliner. Hater vs. slightly less hater.
When their own people protest, what do THEY do to them? They shoot and kill them.
We have NOTHING to be ashamed of nor sorry for. We ARE superior to these people and their society. It's that simple.

So You Don't Like The Comparrison To Hitler And The Rise of Nazi Germany?
When "Comedians" politicize/push their true agenda rather than comment on society...
I'm not even going to say remember...I'm going to INSIST that you THINK.
The next time you want to give yourself a pass by saying it's just one person, or a small group, or convince yourself that it could never be more than that THINK about these facts:
"According to David Nicholls in his book about Adolph Hitler, in 1924, while Hitler was in jail, the Nazi Party won barely 3 % of the votes in the Reichstag election. In 1928, they won 2.6% of the vote. Thereafter, things improved and, in 1930, Hitler and his Nazi Party won 18% of the vote. By 1932, he’d won 31% of the vote."
Ms. Chesler correct coins and explains: “cultural workers” wield enormous influence over their young audiences. (Political comics, one-actor showmen/impersonators, rap artists, poetry slammers, movie stars, visual artists)
One such up and coming cultural worker was written about in The Sunday Independent.
"The Sunday Independent gives us an examples of Dieudonne’s jokes:
There is also a Hitler-in-his-bunker sketch that is moderately funny until the closing line: “You will see, in the future, people will come to realise that I, Adolf Hitler, was really a moderate.”
Now THINK about this:
"Dieudonne (ran for office) did not win his seat in the EU Parliament—at least, not this time. But he did win 1.3% of the votes in the Paris region where he had concentrated his efforts. Dieudonne is relatively young and, as we shall see, has friends in Hezbollah, Hamas—and in jail! He also won more votes than twenty three other French parties who also ran candidates including the Parti Breton, Europe-Democratie-Esperanto, Maison de la Vie et des Libertes, Alternative Liberale and Resistances."
NO MORE LIP SERVICE TO "NEVER AGAIN" It's become a self-righteous slogan that has no teeth. We are living in the age of double-speak. We are the 1984 society. We are allowing people like Rev. Wright to say, "Them Jews..." and we give people like him a free pass...by brushing it off as one person, and not holding those who are close to these people just as accountable for these public words, rather than seeing that these very people are the mouth pieces for the elected officials they have relationships with. They are the acceptable people to say it for them, to deflect but spread the word.
If you cannot wrap your mind around this, then let me give you something you probably can.
The Jews ARE the canary in the coal mine. What happens to us WILL happen to you. If you allow this to continue and you let OUR current society finish Hitlers job and I and my fellow Jews are murdered and wiped off this earth, YOU ARE NEXT. Everything you will bear witness to my people, you will experience yourself.
I challenge you to change the way you THINK.
Perhaps you should start seeing the Jewish people as your children. Parents, good parents fiercely protect their children at all cost. They defend their children at all costs, and they sacrifice for their children at all costs. And in the end they know they do it for the greater good and the future. I challenge you to join the ranks of the Righteous people in our world.

Ayaan Hirsi Ali's Response to Obama's Cairo Speech
In response to Obama’s speech in Cairo but here’s what Ayaan Hirsi Ali had to say in an interview with Jeb Golinkin for the New Majority.
ON WOMEN’S RIGHTS:
President Obama’s speech didn’t do much for Muslim women. He defended their rights in Western countries to wear the hijab. He didn’t touch on Muslim women being confined, being forced into marriages or being victims of honor killings: These traditions and principles in the Koran and in Islam are being practiced in the West. He didn’t address that. I think he was just appeasing the Muslim world because they perceive–they have these notions that Muslim women in Western countries–are not allowed to wear the headscarf or cover themselves. I mean you can wear whatever you want in the United States.
In Egypt where he spoke, women who do not wear their veil in public are subjected to very obscene remarks on the street and even sexual assault. Nowadays, even if they are covered they become victims of the same things: That is, in public, in Egypt, as a woman, you run 80% of the time the risk of being assaulted simply because you are a woman walking down the street. They are forced into marriages; their testimony in countries where Sharia is law is just half of that of a man. They can be divorced with no rights. They need guardians, a married guardian or they cannot sign any legal papers. The President simply did not address Sharia or Islamic law in relation to women.

Video Submissions For My Birthday Post
So I'm just gonna give you a shout out instead to let you know I'm still (demanding) requesting videos as my gift for my birthday which is coming up in just a few days and I need to set the post ahead of time. Joe, Dani, Sandy, Diana, Karyne.
Now learn who's shown you up: Marissa and Mum-me.
And they're really adorable videos too.
You don't have to actually be in the videos. Just a fun birthday video to yours truly, the politically ranting chickie you've all come to know and love, right here on this very awesome kick ass blog :D
(links to all your site on the shout outs to follow...I'm just too damn tired at the moment to do it...but I love you all.)

Shittay Date on Tuesday Night
I guess the writing, literally, was on the wall with the IM I had with this loser from JDATE when we were discussing when to meet and I know damn well he chose Thursday night and when I was about to end the IM I confirmed by saying well see you Thursday and he wrote very nasty as if I got it wrong: well actually it's Tuesday.
The turd changed his mind and acted like I got it wrong. He also gave me the WRONG cell number. I wrote it down EXACTLY as he said it and when I sent a text to let him know I was on my way (since I'm on call a lot for work) obviously he never got that.
We met at a coffee shop and the first question he asked me was my name.
WTF!?
That's a first for me. Seriously you don't know my name? Are you kidding me? I asked him if he was serious. He said yes and was ANGRY about it.
I kid you not I thought right then and there, that I should tell him he has no clue how to speak to women and to go fuck off, and then leave. But I sat there.
I told him, "I gave you my name in my email to you."
He said, "NO YOU DIDN'T!"... "Where? What email?"
I said to him, "Jdate" And just looked baffled.
He then said, "That's all you had to do was answer. You answered."
I then said,"I also texted you saying I was on my way, didn't you get my text?"
Well we've established that he didn't. And I showed him the text I sent and he said I got his number wrong, that it was 696 not 969.
Sorry folks, I can get a thing here or there wrong, but not the day, not forgetting if I gave my name and on top of that his number as well.
Then he asks if I'd like to get coffee to go and go to the park. It's 8PM mind you. But I said ok and figured let me see where this park is. As it turns out it's next to a huge major roadway near me. So I was ok with it.
I did talk with him for about 1.5 hours but only to be polite and then I ended the date. The conversation was never free flowing. He was rude and defensive about way too much. And somehow he asked me about politics and I figured who cares, say what I want. I put in a lot of "F" bombs figuring he'd figure out that a gal who uses the "F" word on a first date probably doesn't want a second one.
There were many horrendous comments he made to me throughout and lots of put downs in passive aggressive ways...too many to write in a post. And really not worth it. He's a fucking idiot.
The good thing about this night was that I got my ass out of my apartment. I actually played dress up, did my makeup nicely and even used mascara, which I NEVER EVER use. I figured you never know who you'll end up meeting walking on the street.
I noticed many men taking a look, even guys on dates.
MORONS!
It made me feel good about me.
So anywhoodle...when I ended the date I said, well it's 9:30 and I really should get home as I have to get up early and I never know when I'll be called for work in the middle of the night.
The poor bastard just got up, said ok and turned to leave.
He didn't give me his hand to shake, although he saw me give him mine and awkwardly turned back and gave me the tips of his fingers to shake.
Now look I'm single at my age because I lost a lot of dating years due to serious illness and got screwed out of those very important years where most people hook up for life partners and get married. When I recovered I met a man I fell madly in love with and we talked about marriage but he broke my heart and bolted. And by that time I was almost in my mid thirties.
The men who are left are commitmentphobe, socially retarded rejects from the muppet show, who still think they are youthful frat boys who can get 21 year olds. But they're really bald, limp dick asshats.
I know there are a few left that are decent, they're just harder to find in the rubble.

Demographics
Hat Tip Mum-Me
When I created this post this story hadn't broke yet. But ironically I set this post with this video for today and the story broke just yesterday on the New York Times...the venue of the chocolate Jesus. He's also quoted in another story (which I do not have the link but also on The Times) as saying he is a Muslim therefore he understands that part of the world.
"In an interview with Laura Haim on Canal Plus, a French television station, Mr. Obama noted that the United States also could be considered as “one of the largest Muslim countries in the world.”

Turning 38 and Currently Dateless
I'm approaching my 38th birthday as you all know (and I'm still waiting for your video links except for Marissa! :) And here I sit another birthday without a partner/boyfriend/steady sex partner.
I've put up my dating profile and get barely any hits, any correspondence. Are these guys even truly interested in dating anyone, are the profiles fake, are the men "fake"? I've had professionals write some copy for me for that profile, I've added a little bit of me to it. It's light and fun and kind yadda yadda.
You've all told me how pretty you think I am (when my photo was up at the header) and I look like that photo, thanks to some good genes I did get from my parents, I tend to age well. Thanks Mom and Dad!
And here's the most frustrating part of all this for me: while I'd really like to meet "the one" I'm not opposed to meeting "mr. right now" either to learn from, enjoy, share good times and be intimate with, so I'm not demanding anything, just asking for an appropriate, nice, respectful playmate until "the one" does show up. And yet I'm getting next to nothing.
Out of the abyss I got a flirt and read the man's profile. Not much of a looker but to top it off all he could write was about honesty and how he hates a liar.
COUGH!
And all I want to do is scream "Hey buddy! Did you not have your chance to scream this out with your last girlfriend/wife etc..? Get over it and stop writing a profile that's really a last email to your last love."
When I was younger, and completely messed up, I had boyfriends up the wazoo. Now that I'm self-assured, mature, have my career together it's seems like famine rather than feast. I just don't get it.
So besides the wonderful videos I know all of you are in the process of making for me for my birthday post (needed by the 7th please) what I want most for my birthday is a long-term boyfriend...meaning a man I can respect and care enough about with that being reciprocal.
Oh and a Wii!

Just remember, you have to be TAUGHT to hate. And what she/he does and what they say is SOFT HATE!
Check out this video...maybe it will get you thinking.
