Ayn Rand
I never heard of Ayn Rand until I was 37. The educational establishment purposely hid her from me. Reading her book Atlas Shrugged and watching this clip of her I realize just how much I think like Ayn and always have. I never had that one person I could write about that I admired whenever prompted to by some school assignment. Had I known about Ayn Rand then it surely would have been her.

*snort* You'll get that a lot in New Orleans too. People are idiots when behind a wheel. It used to only be drunk drivers... now it's texting and cell phone calls ~ what is the heck is so darn important that you need to text or call someone and risk the lives around you, because you missed a turn! ARGGH...
What about the asshats that cut their left turn so sharp that they almost drive over the top of your car? I hate sitting at a stop sign and having someone almost take my front end off b/c they can turn a bit wider. Someday I'm going to roll forward just enough to make them hit me. Just because.
