Ayn Rand
I never heard of Ayn Rand until I was 37. The educational establishment purposely hid her from me. Reading her book Atlas Shrugged and watching this clip of her I realize just how much I think like Ayn and always have. I never had that one person I could write about that I admired whenever prompted to by some school assignment. Had I known about Ayn Rand then it surely would have been her.

But there's more to what I need now than what meets the eye
And if beauty's only skin deep,
Then your pretty skin wont send me to my highest high

And I believe that its truly what it has to be

Interesting article. I remember hearing some of those questions. It's as if some people use the questions as a "time filler" in a conversation and others mean it seriously, which can be insulting. I have to admit that I might have said those same things to others and it's shined a light for me :)
