Moving To Mexico

Dear President Obama:

I'm planning to move my family and extended family into Mexico for my health, and I would like to ask you to assist me.

We're planning to simply walk across the border from the U.S. into Mexico ,
and we'll need your help to make a few arrangements.

We plan to skip all the legal stuff like visas, passports, immigration quotas
and laws.

I'm sure they handle those things the same way you do here. So, would you mind telling your buddy, President Calderon, that I'm on my way over?

Please let him know that I will be expecting the following:

1. Free medical care for my entire family.

2. English-speaking government bureaucrats for all services I might need, whether
I use them or not.

3. Please print all Mexican Government forms in English.

4. I want my grandkids to be taught Spanish by English-speaking (bi-lingual)
teachers.

5. Tell their schools they need to include classes on American culture and
history.

6. I want my grandkids to see the American flag on one of the flag poles at
their school.

7. Please plan to feed my grandkids at school for both breakfast and lunch.


8. I will need a local Mexican driver's license so I can get easy access to
government services.

9. I do plan to get a car and drive in Mexico , but I don't plan to purchase
car insurance, and I probably won't make any special effort to learn local traffic laws.

10. In case one of the Mexican police officers does not get the memo from their president to leave me alone, please be sure that every patrol car has at least one English-speaking officer.

11. I plan to fly the U.S. flag from my housetop, put U S. flag decals on my
car, and have a gigantic celebration on July 4th. I do not want any complaints
or negative comments from the locals.

12. I would also like to have a nice job without paying any taxes, or have
any labor or tax laws enforced on any business I may start.

13. Please have the president tell all the Mexican people to be extremely nice
and never say critical things about me or my family, or about the strain we might
place on their economy.

14. I want to receive free food stamps.

15. Naturally, I'll expect free rent subsidies.

16. I'll need income tax credits so that although I don't pay Mexican taxes,
I'll receive money from the government.

17. Please arrange it so that the Mexican Government pays $4,500.00 to help me buy a new car.

18. Oh yes, I almost forgot, please enroll me free into the Mexican Social
Securityprogram so that I'll get a monthly income in retirement.

I know this is an easy request because you already do all these things for all his people who walk over to the U.S. from Mexico . I am sure that President Calderon won't mind returning the favor if you ask him nicely.

I Love You Grandpa

Today I lost my last surviving grandparent. This picture was taken in January of 2009 and it was the last time he was pretty much the man I knew. We spoke, although he was a little slow with words, and he laughed and made jokes. Here's some video from that day. I visited my Grandpa once after this but he couldn't remember my name. He did recognize my face and seemed excited to see me. But this is how I'll choose to remember him.

My Call To Congressman Gary Ackerman's Office This AM

I called Congress at the following telephone number: 202-224-3121. I urge you to do the same in support of Israel and the Armada of Hate that showed up with military weapons, knives and bats and pummeled the IDF when they boarded the ship after the ship refused to go to the port the Israeli's offered to take in and inspect their "peaceful products" and pass along for ya know "humanitarian" reasons.

My Congressman is Gary Ackerman. I said the following:

"I support Israel and their defense against the armada of hate and I expect my Mr. Ackerman to support Israel as well and strongly condemn the UN and Turkey."

Mr. Ackerman's phone answerer was Vanessa. Vanessa stated that she is only the staff assistant and she coordinates tours and facilitates operations in the office and she could not tell me what he thinks on this issue. I continued to ask her what Mr. Ackerman's position was on the Armada of Hate. I reminded her that I was a constituent and I vote and I'm a registered Democrat and I have a right to know what we pay him for, which is his stance on these issues and his voting record. 

Vanessa then asked me for my name. I asked her why she needed my name. "Well, I need to know if you are indeed a constituent." Hmmm really, so my name will tell you that Vanessa will it? Please do tell me how my name will tell you I'm actually a constituent? Am I am on some list. 

I told Vanessa that I didn't appreciate being put in the hot seat like I was in court and spoken to as if I had to defend myself. I should not have to prove I'm an actual constituent to speak with and ask about my Congressman's positions on issues. 

She then told me "Oh I'm sorry. We ask this of everyone and I didn't mean to put you on the hot seat." So I asked her why that wasn't her answer initially to me. COUGH COUGH. She really couldn't answer.

Vanessa let me know that since this issue was so recent it would be hard to know Mr. Ackerman's position.

I let Vanessa know that I thought it very odd that President Obama came out within hours of the incident to make a horrible statement against Israel yet it took him weeks to speak about the oil spill in our own country. 

Vanessa knows I'll be watching the news for Mr. Ackerman's statement whether or not he supports Israel against these terrorists or if he stands with President Obama and that I'll be calling back.

Hey Mr. Ackerman and all of Congress, here's my question I want you to answer "Is this where the world needs to send humanitarian aid? Have you dined here with Abbas?"

The cost of rent in NYC is very expensive and super hard to come by. But there comes a point where you have to take responsibility for yourself.  I've had my own housing issues lately. Those of you that know me off the blog know about this. The issues were beyond my control and my budget was not ready for a move. Did I cry foul and make the state take care of me? No, I did not. I found a living situation I could afford and moved forward. Did I have to give up space and privacy? Yes. Did I have to give up belongings? Yes. Did I do it? Yes.


You must be willing to make hard choices, uncomfortable choices at times, in order to learn, grow and better your life. The paradox is that simple.

The San Remo Manual on International Law Applicable to Armed Conflicts at Sea says in paragraph 67:

67. Merchant vessels flying the flag of neutral States may not be attacked unless they:

(a) are believed on reasonable grounds to be carrying contraband or breaching a blockade, and after prior warning they intentionally and clearly refuse to stop, or intentionally and clearly resist visit, search or capture.

There is abundant evidence from both sides that there was prior warning, that the ships refused to stop, and that they resisted the visit and being searched. And the ships were very publicly breaching a blockade.

The Dumbing Down Of An Already Dumbed Down America

G-d forbid the teachers use this a chance to TEACH about these subjects or the company that made them and what inspired the company which would be incredibly interesting to the students and start an intellectual conversation. It Finally Hit Me

I finally realized the bigger problem with Americans after reading this article. Most Americans cannot make the connection and stooooooooooooopidly (to steal a phrase from President Obama) connect the object with the idea of hate/good rather that the subject.

Take for example school children and test papers. The Red Pen.
Well, the red pen is BAD. The color makes children feel horrible so we should now circle the wrong answer in purple. That's right. Suddenly showing the kids their wrong answers is now a good feeling.

If it is that easy with Americans, purple is now good even though the action is still the same, think about how anyone can say they are for diversity and suddenly a bunch of NAZI's and Muslims can band together and be the heros and the good ones. The moronic Americans will stand up for the mosque.

Here I'll explain this again. Mosque is a house a worship. We should respect people to allow them to choose their faith. We don't attack houses of worship.

Muslims build a house and call it a place to worship god. Instead they use it to preach filthy NAZI rhetoric hate. But moronic Americans will come to their aid.

The Kitty Momma Drama

Tonight apparently Sadie decided that she likes asparagus. I forgot I had a tiny piece that had dropped on the floor, on my desk. Well, the person that I am, action first then think...I put my hands in her mouth to grab what I thought was some string she found. She desperately wanted to eat the asparagus...shit this kitty has good taste eh? Well I was bitten. Full through my finger. Part of my thumb would not stop bleeding even with pressure. A spastic trip to the about to close Walgreens for a styptic pencil and then a few tweets and freaking out kitty momma drove herself to the ER for a much needed Tetnus shot and antibiotic. I'm fine now. But I'm sure my new roommate thinks I'm a nut! The poor woman had to tie my shoes for me to leave the apt. LOL
