Landing On My Feet ...& Dating Again

I had a lot of changes this week. I realized that my heart lies in what I had been doing for the last two years and that having my independence in my career was too important to me. I mutually ended a job situation but left with so much knowledge to bring to my own practice that I was grateful for the opportunity, even though it was a very stressful place to work.

I learned that I understand my own self-worth and that I no longer buy into other people's opinions of me.

I think we've all been there at one point or another in our lives, where someone who is the authority figure sits us down and says that they feel we are not cut out for whatever it is we are doing.

We can choose to buy into someone else's story, that comes from their own need to push people out in order to protect themselves or we can look inside and take inventory of what we have accomplished and say to hell with that person and continue to build our dream.

I'm back to building my dream.

Before I decided to take this last job I was already building my own business. I had established my very good reputation. And I'm right back there today with MORE skills and knowledge to offer my clients.

In truth, I had serious reservations about working for this person but I couldn't justify it until I worked for them. And I know we've all been in that spot before.

I'm not the kind of person that finds solice in learning the steps and following by rote. I'm a creative thinker. And now I'm back where I can be myself.

Peace.

I went out on a date with a guy I'd like to have a second date with. What I like best about this man is our conversations. They just flow, as if we've been friends forever. I'm looking at my dating choices in a whole new way.

I used to go out with very charming men. But charm is often a mask for something else and often it is not the person we think we are dating, in the end.

This guy seems sweet and kind. Charming he is not. He's funny and open.

A wise woman told me this week that you can work out and around the minor things but you can't make acceptions for those who aren't sweet and kind.

So I'm giving this short, slightly overweight guy a shot because he seems to have a good caring heart and I feel he would treat me well.

What I don't care for so far is the insecurity of this guy that I see. But you all know how direct I am. :)

I sent a text a day after our first date just to say I had a nice time and appreciated the company.

Apparently that's a faux pas?? It was immediately received as if I was letting him down easy.

That pissed me off. Insecurity is just not attractive.

I picked up the phone and told him to knock it off, to not play this game with me to get my attention.

Look I understand this guy is short and stout. I'm sure he's faced a lot of rejection and it's colored him. However...

So I said what I had to. I didn't hold back. I was able to be myself.

Well, we'll all just have to stay tuned on this one.

I Follow Ideas Not People

I wish more people felt the way I do. Heck who doesn't? That's kind of cliche...sorta.

I hate that the current climate has been able to get to the point where we have to purposely spotlight people because of their "color" but the reality is that because our world is so unbalenced in truth telling or lack there of, I feel it necessary to show that there are indeed those of the black color, ugh, color...African decent, that share my values and yours too. As well as showing liberals that they are so very wrong about their ideolgue-ist views that Republicans and more conservative minded people are racist and black haters.

We are multi cultural! Those of us who share these similar values, not same values, similar.

I found out about another women, who shares my values about race relations in our country. Her name is Anne Wortham. I learned about her from Rob's blog. If you click through that link you can see her speech about Obama.

Here's what the Booker T. Washington Symposium said about her:

Anne Wortham Ph.D., associate professor of sociology, has taught at Illinois State University since 1991. Her scholarship interests are the sociology of culture, the history of ideas, and American political culture. She holds a B.S. degree from Tuskegee University and Ph.D. from Boston College. Prior to entering graduate school in 1977, she was a Peace Corps volunteer in 1963-1965, and for the next 12 years worked as an editorial researcher for such media organizations as Esquire magazine, NBC News’ “Huntley-Brinkley Report,” ABC Radio News, and King Features Syndicate.

Dr. Wortham has taught at Wellesley College; Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government, where she was a John M. Olin Foundation Faculty Fellow; and Washington and Lee University. She also has been a visiting scholar at Hoover Institution at Stanford University.

She is author of The Other Side of Racism: A Philosophical Study of Black Race Consciousness (1981). Sociologist Jack D. Douglas at San Diego State called the book “a powerful scholarly, moral, and political analysis and indictment of all forms of black racism, quotaism, reversism--and all other attempts to reduce black individuals to racial categories. Anne shows the many different ways in which these attempts violate the basic constitutional rights of all Americans and threaten to rob blacks of the right to gain real self-esteem. ... And she does this with all the forcefulness, truthfulness, and beauty that spring from her own experience.”

Since 1966 Dr. Wortham has written numerous articles on civil rights policy, multiculturalism and Afrocentrism in education, the politics of victimhood, the melting pot ideal, and American culture. Her work has appeared in The Freeman, Reason, and The World & I. Her two-hour conversation with Bill Moyers for his PBS documentary series, “A World of Ideas,” is widely distributed as a video recording and the transcript was published in his book, A World of Ideas.

Dr. Wortham is currently developing an anthology of her essays on individualism and conducting research on the critique of Max Weber’s theory of capitalism by Austrian economists.

And here's another man who shares my views: Kevin Jackson ...Oh and he happens to be of the color BLACK. He wrote a book called The Big Black Lie and from what I can surmise he is the answer to Al Sharpton, that piece of shit reble rouser, victimizer, race baiter divider of Americans.

He wrote this probably conversation regarding the last situation with the professor from Harvard and the Presidents remarks to deflect from his healthcare press conference disaster:

As for the confrontation, it likely went something like this:

Cop: Sir, I’m going to need you to put your hands up. I’m responding to a possible break-in at this residence.
Elitist: This is MY house, Cracker!
Cop: Sir, I will need to see some ID.
Elitist: I’m a PROFESSOR at HARVARD and a friend of the PRESIDENT. What, you don’t think a BLACK man can own a NICE home? Did I mention HARVARD?! Why are you YELLING at me,white boy?!!
Cop: Sir, we can get this resolved quickly, if I can just see some ID, and…
Elitist: I don’t have to show you anything in my own home, whitey! I teach at Harvard. You’re trespassing. I could make one phone call, and you will be on the streets, homeless! Do you know who you are f*%king with? A Harvard professor and last remaining friend of Obama!! did i mention that i teach at harvard?!!!

Two Trillion Tons

Hat Tip The Great James T. who never curses unlike me.

You Don't Dismantle The Entire House Because The Window Is Broken!

I took that headline from a comment on another blog. It was brilliant. It was left in the comments on a post about the current healthcare "proposal" that is really a demand of the president of the united states. Yes I didn't capitalize the words for good reason. I don't respect the president or his country at this time. And I won't give honor or credit to a man who I believe is a dictator and who will demand to dismantle the very foundations of our once great nation for his own sick personal agenda and pleasure and in the process sentence my mother to death.

We do need reform but not in THIS format!

Under his plan http://search.twitter.com/search?max_id=2724494150&page=1&q=+pg+from%3Afleckman+since%3A2009-07-14+until%3A2009-07-19&rpp=50 which you can see here from a very detailed Tweeter who has looked at the pages in the proposed bill, liberties are stripped.

So I ask you, those of you I emailed privately, how do you feel about the details in the bill? Are you ok with these things? Is this truly what you believe in? I can't imagine a compassionate Christian believing these things are ok.

I know I am not ok with this.

I am not ok with the rationing of drugs and treatments and the denial of them by any entity. I've never felt the insurance companies were great. I'm sure you agree with me there. So how can you think this is better? This is worse. MUCH WORSE. This is the government making life or death decisions and taking away options and choices. This is NOT giving more or better!

If you refuse to admit this then you are lying to yourself. There is not debate nor will there be with me and don't you even try it. I don't debate with liars.

My mother has chronic lymphocytic leukemia. Her life was saved at her dx 11 years ago when she was 53. She had been given Rituxin. The insurance company paid for it for 10 years. And it worked really well for her for that time.

Under the Canadian system and the proposed one Obama is putting forth, because my mother was over 50 at the time she would not have been eligible for many options and would have been put on an extra waiting list. Rituxin was not allowed in Canada due to the cost even though it is proved to extend lives, and as you can see it worked for 10 years in my mother.

If you are for this propsed bill in this form then you are saying that your utopian vision is more important than real lives and in this very case my mother's life and I will not stand with you or for it! It's that simple.

Each person, be they rich or poor deserves life saving procedures and medicine. They deserve it quickly and without waiting lists. They deserve the right to walk into any doctors office and be seen if they are sick and not to have to sign up for only one doctor or worse enroll in a lottery and a wait list of 3 years to see if your name is pulled.

Think of your grandparents. Think of yourselves as many of my readers are 50 years old or older.

Your employers will be forced to partake in the government program and you will see much less of your money in your paycheck because it is now law to pay more taxes to cover this program and you will get less healthcare options.

And if you really take the time to read the link I provided you will see some very scary things buried in this proposal...one of which is that if you are a doctor you will no longer be allowed to own certain things and have to ask permission.

Is that acceptable to you? Do you think anyone has the right to tell another what they can and cannot own in this country? Seriously is this what you believe in? Is this what you thought you voted for? I cannot believe that, because I know the deep values you espouse as compassionate Christians.

The hero worship must die here today so that your parents and grandparents get to live and aren't deemed too expensive.

Vetted By A 23 Year Old

About 2 months ago I was vetted to find out if I was of the correct political leanings by a 23 year old. How? Well first try to hear the tone, because it wasn't just a simple question.

"Do you like Ayn Rand?"

Imagine the eyes on this young - brainwashed - woman as she said this to me? Think of one of the worst things you've ever done to another person and they found out and they confront you and they give you those horrified and hurt eyes. That's the face I got.

I've read some quotes here and there and heard some on the radio here and there by Ayn Rand and that's as far as it's gone for me so far. But what I've heard made perfect sense to me.

I'm a little upset with myself because I made a special trip to the book store recently and there was her book, which I had never seen before and was never told about before, and yes I went to college and yes I took (stupid) feminism classes and while I was rammed with Frieda Kharlo I never heard - not once - the name Ayn Rand. Well, I didn't buy the book. But I can tell you I'm going back soon and buying it!

But this little tyke of a 23 year old not only heard her name but obviously was taught to despise her. This is scary to me.

How can a true feminist despise Ayn Rand? She was a fiction writer and philosopher. She explored thoughts. She was a Russian immigrant from the turn of the century, Jewish, spoke very little English when she arrived and taught herself not only to speak fluently but to write and express her thoughts fluently in English in the early 1900's and wrote books that made people think.

Ah, but thinking, bad! Indoctrination of other peoples thoughts - GOOD!

This is a sick and pathetic generation we have coming behind us. And they have numbers.

"... in response to a fan who wrote her offering cult-like allegiance, Rand wrote the following:

My philosophy advocates reason, not faith; it requires men to think -- to accept nothing without a full, rational, firsthand understanding and conviction -- to claim nothing without factual evidence and logical proof. A blind follower is precisely what my philosophy condemns and what I reject. Objectivism is not a mystic cult."

Sadly I conclude that most colleges today and their students are nothing more than cults that demand blind followers who do not question and only repeat the indoctrinated lies.

Rand repeatedly stressed the importance of individualism and independent thinking. Hmmm sound like someone you know?

The BIG Lie That Liberals Tell - Now You Have The Answer To Them When They Say It

From City Journal

"One often hears variations on Krugman’s argument—that America lags behind other countries in crude health outcomes. But such outcomes reflect a mosaic of factors, such as diet, lifestyle, drug use, and cultural values. It pains me as a doctor to say this, but health care is just one factor in health. Americans live 75.3 years on average, fewer than Canadians (77.3) or the French (76.6) or the citizens of any Western European nation save Portugal. Health care influences life expectancy, of course. But a life can end because of a murder, a fall, or a car accident. Such factors aren’t academic—homicide rates in the United States are much higher than in other countries (eight times higher than in France, for instance). In The Business of Health, Robert Ohsfeldt and John Schneider factor out intentional and unintentional injuries from life-expectancy statistics and find that Americans who don’t die in car crashes or homicides outlive people in any other Western country."

Here's more FACTS that the psuedo-intellectuals won't tell you...um 'cause they don't have a clue how to analyze or think, only repeat bullshit:

"And if we measure a health-care system by how well it serves its sick citizens, American medicine excels. Five-year cancer survival rates bear this out. For leukemia, the American survival rate is almost 50 percent; the European rate is just 35 percent. Esophageal carcinoma: 12 percent in the United States, 6 percent in Europe. The survival rate for prostate cancer is 81.2 percent here, yet 61.7 percent in France and down to 44.3 percent in England—a striking variation."

Write to your elected officials and give them these cold hard facts and tell them about your dissent of their bullshit Obamacare now.

CAIR And Muslim Women Being Brought To America NONONONONONONONONO

Phyllis Chesler brings to light a horried reality of the OBAMA(ination) Administration on her blog this week: "Today, the Obama administration reversed a Bush-era policy and opened the way for “foreign women who are victims of severe domestic beatings and sexual abuse to receive asylum in the United States.” The battered women will have to meet “strict conditions for asylum” and will also have to show that “domestic abuse is widely tolerated in their country…that they could not find protection from institutions at home or by moving to another place within their own country.”

Obviously, if we are going to allow people into our country, I suggest we do not bring people who are filled with hate for America and the West. Ideally, we should offer asylum to those who share our views about life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness-Western-style.

And by the way folks: A battered woman can also be an America-hater–and she can believe that she deserves to be beaten. Studies show that as well. Ponder it all. Have a magnificent weekend anyway."

And this video below shows why she is right!BTW the narrator is Muslim and lives in America.

I love A Good Bargain

I was out and about and ran into this bargain. I should tell you that I don't have one piece of furniture that matches. Well, not that my pieces don't match, but I have eclectic taste. I really don't like sets.

This is brand new but as you can see has a few minor scratches. The flash really picks them up. Without the light that bright you really can't tell. I don't know why it was only $5. I'm guessing it was part of a set that no one wanted and was a one off. It was on the street in front of the store and I said WTH, for $5 if I decide I don't want it/can't use it/fill in the blank, no big deal.

It's sitting next to my bed and the piece of shit that was there before is now on the other side of the bed, for wishful thinking that I'll have a "partner" soon who will need it to place his watch on at night. [sigh]

I'm rather pleased with my purchase. It has two nice size drawers where I can put alot away from the kitties. I can store my work that I do at home in one of them and that just tickles me pink. WOOT!

Dating A Conservative!

So it turns out that my Jdate profile is a bust because I'm a conservative. Yep! You read that correctly. All these months of wondering WTF about why I'm getting pretty much nil responses to my profile and getting help on writing and rewriting my intial "bio" and it all boils down to the fact that I list myself as right leaning politically.

So you see, and as I've always maintained, Liberals aren't liberal. Conservatives are the liberals.

I patiently logged on to Jdate, and sat there waiting for some guys to IM me. BING BING BING, you can see who is looking at your profile. So many lookers...yet no emails, no IM's. WTF?

Then one MORON from Jersey City (that should have been a clue enough) asked to IM me. I said ok. He wasn't very compelling. He didn't seem to know how to get the conversation going. But hey, I'm getting such little response right? So I hang in there. He learns about what I do, and I learn what he does and he exchanges some boring information about hanging out at his family pool. OKIE DOKIE...and then he says something about a drink tonight except for the fact that I live pretty darn far from him. And I mention doing it another time if he's willing to come to my area.

And then the fake liberal pulls no punches. "It depends on how right wing you are." Now let's dissect that shitass sentence. It's already biased. It's the same as when they called those who believe in the Tea Parties Tea Baggers.

To lean politically to the right he is labling me a Right Winger/racist/black hater -- everything hater. Which means only those who share the way he "thinks" are good people.

Yes notice the quotes, because he doesn't think. He's brainwashed. He's part of that sick sad mass of people who've taken over our country who have been taught what to think, not how to think and are swept up in social pressure to be the same, to think the same and to malign those who actually read and care about facts and don't believe in demonization/brainwashing of "others" to beat you into submission to their philosophies.

So this asshat says, "I'm guessing you're not an Obama Fan." BTW I fixed the grammer for him in the telling of his asshat story. And I replied,"NOPE. I am a NOBAMA fan."

And Asshat says,"Well that's ok. You're cute. Have a nice summer." I PROMPTLY logged off without any response.

Maybe he just hasn't seen this or gotten this memo yet:

or this one:

You see, I'm cute! And probably if I lost 15lbs I could also be a total bitch and have a handful of men puppy-dogging me around town. But in this climate in NYC especially, if I have my own mind, if I've been open-minded to listening to conservatives and they made their argument well. Well-enough that all the liberal BASHING that they taught me through college and my even younger years I was able to overcome, well that is just the one thing even a cute or hot girl isn't worth sticking with.

Being a bitch (think I'm wrong, watch Bridezillas) doesn't stop men from being with cute/pretty/hot girls. But the social pressure to be a liberal is that strong.

So I dunno what is next for me. Because this is who I am KIDDOS! Obama is evil. He took businesses away from people in the name of a stimulus, to "save our economy". Wake the fuck up you fucking fucktard Jewish liberals. That is EXACTLY what Castro did to his own people. If you don't know what I am referencing think GM.

I had a converstation with some 70 year old Jewish ladies from the UWS recently. We were talking about some lobbyist and they were in total agreement with me. I never brought up Nobama. And then it was interjected. "Wait, they are going to bring that to Obama. He can do no wrong. He's brilliant and he can do no wrong." And I fell silent. I honestly thought this woman was being sarcastic. Because she was just agreeing with me and passionate about agreeing with me and in the same breathe said those words.

She was DEAD SERIOUS.

This is our 1939 folks. WAKE THE FUCK UP!

Such Excitement

I have so much excitement in my life. It's just not the kind I wish I were having. I wish I could be writing to all the world, that I met a great guy, I'm getting the best sex ever and I'm so fucking happy about it.

Maybe it's because of that very reason that I find myself meeting up with the rudest and yes psycho people and I just can't stand them and their rude ways that are intrusive in my life. I dunno!

It's the small things that matter in the end. Really. Don't kid yourself. We all work hard, long days for small paychecks and when we need to park or get our mail or go to the grocery store we don't want to be met with nasty people acosting us, or cutting us off or stealing our spots. And for many people, myself included this just sends me to a blood boiling angering point. Because I would never do this to another and if I did and someone said something to me I would never have the balls to threaten them because I would know I did wrong in the first place.

So yes, there's this insane excitement happening to me this week. Maybe because I am single and a postal worker screaming at me as I mind my own damn business etc...I'm tired of people taking advantage of me because I am standing alone. I really am fucking tired of it.

So I hope to someday soon be writing here about more fun exciting moments, of passionate kisses, fantastic sex and wonderful dates with a great respectful guy instead. HURRY UP ALREADY!

Nationalized Healthcare

The fairytale sounds great. Heck I'm all for the fairytale. Except that if you're a grown-up you should realize that the reality is that fairytales are just that tales!

The reality of socialized/nationalized healthcare is THIS .

This is the truth. The fairytale is propoganda. PERIOD!

As wonderful as it would be for every single person to receive free healthcare for whatever ails them, the reality is that it's an impossible program to implement.

I am a conservative who does believe that healthcare should be more affordable and that whether you are poor or rich you should have the exact same options available to you. No one should be sick or die simply because they do not have the money to pay for a treatment that exists. Yes. I believe that.

Where I split from the left is the implementation and idealism of nationalized/socialized medicine as the cure. It's a lie. The truth is that you pay through the nose in high taxes even in a politically free system such as Canada (as commenter Rhonda from Alberta mentioned in a post I wrote about a week ago) and have very little of your hard earned money left in your own pocket to spend on anything you might want or need just to get those services, and even then there are many drugs that are just not allowed in Canada even if they'd save your life, simply due to the cost. For example Rituxin which has saved my mothers life for 10 years. That is not a drug that prolongs life for a few months....it prolongs life for years and years and her quality was as if she were not sick with Leukemia. Not allowed in Canada due to the cost.

It's time the left/liberals woke up. Stop acting like infants, crying and screaming but not listening to facts.

Conservatives "fight" against them, not because we do not want the same things, but because we know that the implementation will not result in the very things they are crying out for.

Look what one doctor from Cuba wrote:

Letter from a slave doctor in Angola
A relative of a Cuban slave doctor, who was sent by the Castro regime to work in Angola, have sent me copy of a recent e-mail he received where the doctor explains how the Castro brothers exploit those who are forced to abandon their families and go work in foreign countries.
The name of the doctor has been omitted for obvious reasons. Here is a translation of what he said:
"Let me explain how the contract works. The Angolan government pays Cuba US$10,000 monthly for each doctor, but from that total, the Cuban government pays Angola's Ministry of Health US$6,000 per month to guarantee our housing and transportation. We have to pay for our own food. Of the US$4,000 left we only receive US$600, but 30% of the $600 is paid to an account in Cuba. I spend about US$150 buying food that I have to cook myself and if you check the phone bill, it cost around US$40 to call Cuba. As you can see, it is not easy."

Note - According to the relatives, the 30% that is paid in Cuba is in CUC Convertible Cuban Pesos that are worthless outside of Cuba.

Based on this breakdown, Cuba is receiving US$4,000 net after expenses for each doctor. The Cuban government pays US$420 ($600 less 30%) to the doctor and 180 CUC, go to an account in Cuba.
And the difference, approximately US$3,400, goes to the pocket of Castro & Castro Slave Traders Unlimited.
Some exiled doctors that I've talked to believe that the figure that the Cuban government pays for the "housing and transportation" seems high and is probably what the government told the doctor.
If that's the case, the difference that goes to the Castro brothers pockets could be even higher.
Multiply that by the thousands of Cuban doctors who are currently working in foreign countries and you can understand why Forbes lists Fidel Castro as one of the world's richest dictators.

Next time you hear one of those foreign ignorants talking about the "generosity" of Cuba's leaders in "sharing" thousands of Cuban doctors to help the poor and the needy around the world, show them this letter.

Marion Barry Is At It Again

Marrion Barry was arrested AGAIN this time for stalking a woman in the park. January 18, 1990 he was arrested for smocking crack in a seedy hotel room with a lady friend. The DC police and FBI arrested him.

Photo here.

But because he is BLACK even after he was arrested and convicted the people of DC elected him again years later.

But once a scumbag always a scumbag. And he was just arrested for stalking a woman in the park this weekend.

I just do not understand the mentality of the black community. Why do they never seem to care about the character of people and stand behind anyone who is black and always buy the bullshit of the victim card?

I rarely see anyone speak out against this. There are two men I've found online who talk against this shit all the time but they are looked down upon within their own ethnic community. Baffling?

James T is one and machosauceproductions.com is the other.

Yes this is my car and yes someone stole the hubcap and no I do not plan on replacing it. You see living in NYC, people will do all kinds of stupid shit to your car when drunk. And so why should I pay for that pleasure.
Well this is a photo from outside my building. As you can see, the meter has been removed. But only from this pole. With NYS politicians being so money hungry, for OUR money, yet not showing up for work, fucktards that they are, I wondered if they'd ticket me for not paying the meter. Hence this photo.
I didn't get a ticket. My lucky day.

MJ's Children

I really do not understand the question about his children and who will take care of them, except in the case of money hungry vultures. Because the truth is that MJ wasn't taking care of those children, the state awarded him custody even though he was a mental freak who's own family didn't step up and legally get him committed to a mental sancuary where he at the very least would have had a chance to heal and lead a life where his mind was at peace, rather than his body pumped up on so many drugs that you could have supplied a small state with the pharmaceuticals from his body.

So who has been taking care of his children? No one seemed to give a rats ass about that during the time he was alive. Why the question now? Where was Jesse Jackson during the mental suffering of MJ's life while he was alive. Hmmm?!?! Where was Sharpton during this time?

These god damn vultures only come out when the body is cold, when the tragedy allows them to profit in some way, either financially or thru publicity. They didn't care about MJ or his children before.

Since Jackson was born October 8, 1941 he wasn't old enough to be a part of any movement that made it possible for MJ to get where he did in his career and any professing to the contrary should be met with LIAR LIAR! (Yes yes he stood with MLK and I can go to a rally and stand by a famous person too and be a part of a movement. That doesn't make me a leader in it.)

Jackson and Sharpton are just two old crows! VULTURES!

Ironic isn't it that MJ played the scarecrow in the Wiz, who couldn't scare any crow away. How ironic his life and death played out that role.

Maybe his family will grow a spine and tell these people crawling out of the woodwork NOW, to take a hike. Send them all packing. I doubt it, but I can HOPE.
Oh and a very special Fuck You to Chris Matthews who I just heard say, without a smirk on his face on his Sunday morning show : Michael Jackson opened up MTV to blacks.
Are you fucking kidding me? MTV was started in the 80's you moron! Started by young, liberal people who didn't give a rats ass about anyone's color.

Postal Worker? Or Lazy Fat Ass

It must be something in the stars, water, air because all the freaks are out the past two days. Tuesday I taped this video (below) I had just had it with the nasty verbal attack this postal worker lashed on me in the lobby of my building. She did it in private and I did mine in public and that's the only thing she has over me.

As I went to my mailbox and opened it I heard a voice yelling at me. On her way out, at 2PM (pretty darn late to deliver mail!) she was yelling at me about how my bank addressed a box of checks to me. Angry that they didn't put my apt # and then continued to yell that my name wasn't on the box.

In NYC we have tiny boxes with keys. The mail carrier has the master key and the only way to get into the box at an angle where you can write your name is to have that master key. When I moved into this apt. 2 years ago the mail carrier at that time added my name, in pencil. And I guess it's gone.

I tried to say all this to this woman but she was just yelling and yelling and yelling. And I even had to say to her, "You need to stop talking to me because you are being rude. Stop!"
And as you will hear in my voice, I had had enough and yelled back.

Now here's what you also won't see. Before I took the video, I walked by and discovered her sitting there waiting for her hair cut and as I walked by, she pointed at me and said to the owner of the store, See that girl....which is why you are now seeing my video and hearing what I have said.

Here's a tip mail lady: you catch more bees with honey than with vinegar. All you had to say was, did you know your name was not on your box anymore? Or can I help you put your name back on the box?

Nope, I got, "Hey, I almost didn't deliver your mail. YOU NEED TO TELL PEOPLE TO PUT YOUR APT. NUMBER! I CAN'T TELL WHAT MAIL IS YOURS!!!" etc...screaming and screaming at me.

I made a complaint to the postal service and I told them about the video and pictures and how during work hours she sat for a hair cut while mail that still needed to be delivered wasn't and how she was screaming at me.

Now if she ever catches wind of this blog and the video let me just tell you this: I can't control how others write mail to me. Don't assume I don't always tell people to put my apt. #. And if it happens to not be listed how you would like, take a deep breathe and don't take it on on me the next time.
